Any local small shop will do it for 45-50. And since they are small they will work with you on what you want.

is it expensive? it was a small local shop. It was recommended by a couple people. Ive always heard that some shops wont do an alignment on lifted trucks for whatever reason. I didnt think it was a bad deal but it was my first alignment so I didnt know what to expect...

Manny where in OC? I went to a guy in Downey, which might be close if you are near North County. He does it all by hand and can dial in Caster, etc...
I had a lifetime deal from Pepboys and they never got it right. They kept reading 3.0 on Caster and it was 0 on one and -0.7 on the other. They did give me a refund though.

I'm in Orange but I'm willing to drive a bit for a good alignment at a reasonable price. I got my truck lifted with some Bilstein 5100's and AAl this past week and the shop provided a "free alignment" but I'm sure they did a shitty job and didnt even provide a printout. The truck is pretty squirelly on the road and the wheels are a little \----/ . I just got new tires too so I wanna make sure this is done right to protect my investments.

You got away pretty much unscathed.

They only refunded me 1/2 my money and screwed up my front end to boot. I thought I was being polite (I actually helped the guy open up one side cause he couldn't get it. My confidence level dropped through the floor. Then I saw him "adjusting the camber and caster." Well, it was certainly different from the description from Toyota (you are supposed to 'inch' it and watch both camber and caster at the same time. Well, long story short, I wanted to get a refund and he told me the only thing he would give me was the keys. Then I spoke with the manager and got a partial refund.

Now my alignment is completely screwed up pulling to one side and while traveling straight, the wheel is positioned as though I am taking a left hand turn. I was going to go back, but why? (Good money and even more importantly TIME, after bad.)

Oh well, now for some qualified folks (hopefully).:mad::mad:

Yea after some research and thought it
looks like the tech did the best he could. My uca's won't allow the wheels to camber out any further. I just got my TOTAL CHAOS UCA's and I'm planning to get them installed and aligned this next week. I can't wait. I put about 1k miles on my new KM2's and I'm starting to see increased wear on the outside of them so this mod comes ay just the right time.

Have you had TSB 0305-08 (Harsh Ride) accomplished? If so, the TSB has new alignment data. Don't know if the data pertains to your set-up but just a heads up.

x2... those are the best places for alignment... the modern day laser alignment machines cant quite get it right on lifted trucks... old school plates and tape measure are the way to go...
