F696B577-1AE2-4F56-97FF-D5BEC0501D5B.jpg I just got an Elka 2.5 DC Resi front and rear setup, with icon RXT in the rear and dobinsons UCA. The actual suspension handles amazingly but I got an alignment shortly after the lift and its been... different. Its tough to describe but it feels like the truck is fighting the road, rather than adapting and driving on it? Feels a little stiff and veers to the right about 80% of the time (I am aware this could be crown but it never did this pre-lift) I have never driven a lifted truck before so I am not sure what is a result of the lift and what is the alignment. Wondering if someone could tell from these numbers if everything seems fine before I call the shop and ask?

Don't get me wrong it doesn't drive absolutely terribly, its just minus the wandering I had after the lift but before the alignment some parts of it drove better before.

    Work in progress...
I don't know nothing about numbers on an alignment, I am just happy it drives straight. The shop I go to doesn't have any numbers, they just align the truck.

That's a lot of castor, usually 3 plus or minus .5 is a good ride. Did u need that much to clear rubbing issues?

The UCA I got have 3 degrees of castor built in. I am on stock tires right now. Would castor make it feel the way I describe?

I'm no expert but everything else looks good to me, so thinking too much castor may be the cause. Looks like they didn't adjust it from initial reading.
I'm sure someone else will jump in.

You need to go to a specialized alignment shop. The Toyota specs mean absolutely nothing now.

Sounds like your castor is way off. You have to go to a shop that knows what they are doing. My 2nd gen caster is at about 4.1 camber 0 toe 0, to get my 3rd Gen to track right i am currently at 6.25 caster, 0 camber, 0 toe.

You want to set the caster as high as you can until it gets to the point where when you make a turn the steering wheel doesn't want to easily straighten out after your turn.

After you make a turn does the steering wheel want to put correct itself or do you manually have to turn it back straight? on the interstate, does it track straight without fighting it?

When you hit a groove in the road that is parallel to the lane your in does it want to pull or feel sketchy?

How much total lift did you end up with after it settled?

This is an alignment shop that the people who did my lift recommended to me, I trust the shop. This alignment place specializes in lifted vehicles.

I haven't paid attention to the tracking of the steering wheel after turns so I will check that out if I go out again tonight/tomorrow. But I know when I hit a bump after the lift but before the alignment it would lurch the truck sideways, that went away with the alignment. I am at 2.5 inches in the front and I believe around 3 in the rear.
