I am currently running 5100's in the front on the third setting (1.75). I will be ordering 5100's for the rear later today and want to know if I should get an alignment after the rear installation. Additionally has anyone had any substantial height increase with the 5100's in the rear. They have a little more travel than stock I assume.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
To add, shocks don't lift so there will be no height gain also.

ARE cap, wade inchannel vent visors, weathertec floor mats, ranch hand grill guard, tuffy security boxes in bed, lockable tailgate handle. Still have stuff that needs to be installed and still have stuff ordered lol.
rear shocks does not make back higher, springs, aal or spacers affect the height in the rear
if you have lifted the rear make sure u get the 5100s for lifted rear end not stock height ones.

Rear is in a fixed postion so no need for alignment after rear shocks, they dont lift either the leafsprings do the lifting

Not shocks. If you were altering anything at all with respect to the rear SPRINGS, then yes, you would need an alignment, but not for shocks.

Conventional wisdom would suggest that even springs wouldn't need a front alignment adjustment, however in practice, no 2 springs are exactly the same, and so the side to side balance will always be slightly impacted, and that balance needs to be compensated for in the alignment.
