Hey guys just wanting to gain some knowledge here. I recently got some Method Grid 16x8 (0 offset 4.5bs) along with 285/75r16 ko2’s. I am lifted approx 2.5 inches on Kings with SPC upper control arms.

I have trimmed my fender liners and had my CMC done so that’s not an issue. The pinch weld has also been hammered mostly flat.

Below are my alignment specs. I know the go to is 3* of caster and zero’d out for camber and toe when it comes to an alignment, but wanted to see if there are any things I should be concerned about.

I feel like I have to fight the wheel in turns and it’s kind of jerky. That may not be alignment related but instead our awful TN roads. When looking at the front of the truck it looks like my front tires are like this “\ /“ but not so drastic obviously. A lot of the trucks I see on here have a nice even stance up front like so “l l”. This may purely be an aesthetic thing, but I really am outside my lane when discussing alignment specs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The photo below are my current alignment specs.

I'm just learning about this, too. So the way you describe the front tires sounds like a positive-camber (where negative is like: /\). It seems that negative camber is popular on ricey-style racers for aesthetics, but is also used to improve cornering, while obviously causing uneven wear and poor traction when driving straight.

From Wikipedia WRT positive camber: "Off-road vehicles such as agricultural tractors generally use positive camber. In such vehicles, the positive camber angle helps achieve a lower steering effort."1280px-Autojerab_tatra_815.jpg

Though from what I gather on TW, it seems unusual that you should have much of any camber on your Tacoma.

It looks like near-zero camber and toe is the norm around here (with maybe a little positive toe in the rear, because it's a RWD pickup, and: "Typically, rear wheel drive vehicles have slightly positive tow in the rear due to rolling resistance – causing outward drag in the suspension arms. The slight positive toe straightens out the wheels at speed, effectively evening them out and preventing excessive tire wear.", according to http://yospeed.com/wheel-alignment-explained-camber-caster-toe/).

Again I'm a noob, but you should probably take it for an alignment and ask for a printout with the precise measurements?

    Gotcha. Thanks man.

Also I did get an alignment and the alignment specs were posted in my original post.

Edit: photo wasn’t showing at first, but should be fixed now.

What's your camber at right now? You don't mention it in the first post.

According the the alignment specs photo in my original post .6* left front and .5* right front if I’m reading it correctly.

Edit: apparently my photo wasn’t showing up originally. It should be showing up now.

Should I go with a slight positive toe to avoid excessive tire wear or is the 3/0/0 pretty much the gospel?

You could do a bit of toe if you want. I always go with 0 though and it works well.

Gotcha. I just don’t want to chew through tires prematurely. That’s my main concern.
