The current configuration is bilstien 5100 set at 1.75".

I am adding a winch with synthetic rope and a U.S. Off-road mount.

My question is, since the extra weight will make the front droop, will I need an alignment if I move to the 2.5" notch on the shock?

yes, any changes to rideheight in the front will need an alignment. That stated, at 1.75 setting, the winch and rope wont reduce ride height much at all and wont need and alignment. But moving up .75in will need an alignment and likely UCA's

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was thinking. I would like to go up an inch, but if I do, its UCAs and probably 2885s instead of the stock springs.
