I lifted my 3rd gen last week. Bilstein 5100s set at 0.85, OME 887 coils, LR UCAs set at 0, deaver AAL in the rear and 285/75/16 BFG KO2s. The next day I got it aligned.
A couple things cause concern in my noob mind. It does rub plastic on the back portion of the wheel well at full lock in reverse which I expected. Would adding positive caster give me extra clearance? Also visually the camber "looks" to be too much \ /. Here's my alignment sheet, any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Your camber should be closer to 0 and your ride would be better with more caster, like 2.5 or more. How much height did you gain with that setup? I think 887's are meant to be installed on the 0 setting. How does it steer on the highway, any wandering?

The truck rides good, no wandering and tracks straight.

With the 5100s set at .85 I got 3.25" up front and in the back 1.5". The truck sits pretty level maybe a hair high in front.

If the 5100's were at 0 how much lift do you think you would have? I am looking at this setup to be more cost effective but don't want to have to get UCA's. If it starts at 3" and then settles to 2.8" I figure I'd be ok.

All the research and advice I got from TW and other resources said I should've only got a touch under 3" with the 5100/887 combo. Logic would tell me if set the 5100s at 0 instead of .85 I only would've yielded 2.4", I maybe wrong though. As far as settling, I only have 300 mi. on the lift so far, so I couldn't tell you just yet how far it'll settle. From what I understand 2.5" of lift and above is UCA territory although I've read others doing it on stock UCAS.

I thought Billy's should be set at 0 when using OME coils? I got 2.5 inches with 885s set at 0.

I must've missed that in what seemed like metric ton of reading. What's the reason for the 0 setting with the OME/5100 combo? I've seen plenty using .85 setting with good results.

How many miles do you have on the 885's? have you noticed significant settling?

This thread - post 36 - 38. I would suspect that since 887's are the same spring rate but longer it would have more of a negative effect on down travel. Mine's a 2nd gen so not sure if the same applies to 3rd gens

about 1k on them so far - haven't measured for settling yet but nothing visible.
