Little bit of this and a little bit of that but stock af.
Look, I’m sure they are legit and I probably caught them on a bad week. However if I’m paying double the price of a normal alignment
really didn’t want to bad mouth them so that’s why I asked to dm. I’m sure they are a good company but I just want to give my money to someone else.

Totally opposite from what I experienced.

Do you remember who it was you spoke with? Call them back and let Joe know (he's the owner). At the very least I'm sure you'll get an apology. Maybe the guy who answered is on his way out - who knows.

    Sorry dude. try:

    Trackspec Autosports in Fremont

Saw Vin mention them in another thread -
I also was directed to https://rogerkrausracing.com/ in castro valley. Didn't use them since I went with Custom Alignment.

    Good luck.

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
Castro Valley is an OK distance for me to go for an alignment if I know they are decent. I have yet to find a solid shop on the east bay (passed the Caldecott)

Sorry to hear about your situation. Pisser. Had the complete opposite experience. I gotta believe that it was an anomaly. Try again. They are very much worth the trip.

When I used their contact form (Roger Kraus) they replied back the next morning (I sent it at like 2300). Said they would do their best, bring it in and they'd be happy to try. When I was about to call them to schedule, custom had returned my hang up call. Hope it works out for you. If you use Roger or another shop, please do share your experience.

I’ve used trackspec in Fremont. It does cost more but they got the alignment to the exact numbers I wanted zero toe and camber with max caster. Not even .01 over or under. They are a road track car oriented shop so it did take come convincing. Lol Herb who did my alignment has a 3rd gen taco with the exact same suspension set up as mine so I know I was in good hands.

I've personally used Custom Alignment myself years ago for various modified Mustangs and have never had an issue. Pricing was always on the high side, but they do know what they're doing. Your typical alignment shop will shy away from anything modified. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if needed.

Roger Kraus in Castro Valley is also another old school shop that's been around along time. They deal with a lot of track vehicles as well so i would be confident in their work. I've only had wheels/tires mounted there, but my brother has taken his C6 for alignment. Again, no issues and there are definitely on my short list of shops I can trust.

What I can say is that besides the awesome work that all 3 shops can do when it comes to alignments, I would say that Trackspecs does have an edge on customer service and making you feel more comfortable if you need to ask a newbie question.

@Toki Thanks for posting this few months back. I got my alignment done yesterday at Auto Innovations and they were awesome!

How much does Auto Innovations charge?

I used to get my custom alignments done at a place close to my house for $70 and they've always done a good job like dialing 4+ caster. Now they want $125.

Got mine done at California Wheels in Campbell after installing 885s, OME shocks and struts, and an AAL about five weeks back. Did SFBA to Sierras to Nevada and back... and back to the Sierras and back again since then. No complaints.

edit: I should note that this was with just normal alignment specs. However, they seem to do a lot of work on lifted/lowered vehicles from what I've seen, so I would think they can do it to the spec you need.
