Just curious if im wrong here or not. So i originally did a 3 inch toytec lift on my truck. (08 Acc Cab V6) Alignment was obviously off because i hadn't done UCA's at the time. Finally got around to doing UCA's and had it re aligned. (Total Chaos UCA's) Asked the shop for 0 degrees camber both sides and 2.4 caster on both side. Guy told me he could not achieve this because he maxed out the camber and caster settings on both sides and this is what i got.

    Left Side
    -0.8 Camber
    1.0 Caster

    Right Side
    1.0 Camber
    2.1 Caster

Just wanted to get the community opinion on this because i have seen a few guys with the same set up having no problems getting these specs. Thanks for the input

IMO you need to find a new tech. Those numbers are shitty.

That will feel twitchy going down the road. I like my caster above 3 but I have spc uca's so that's easy to dial in. that camber is way off

That’s about right, but really anything over 3° is good for caster.

Could have worn parts somewhere down the line. Bent lower control arms or even a slightly bent spindle. In my experience doing alignments, I've encountered many trucks that are stock that sometimes use up all the lower control arm adjustments for camber and caster. I'll get one of these kind of conditions once and a blue moon. But when I do It's from bent spindles. Very small differences.

yeah.... go to a proper alignment shop that dude dont know what hes doing.

I personally like steering feel to be lighter, I ran with 3.4ish* of caster for quite some time but was always annoyed at how sensitve the truck was to road crown because of the high caster and how much wheel force it took to overcome the pull due to crown. (truck would track dead straight on a flat road). Also due to the higher caster bumpsteer was more prevalent.

Dropped down to ~ 1.7* of caster and things are MUCH better for my taste.

I do all my alignment at home with all of a 23 dollar digital angle finder and every time I have taken the truck to get a free alignment check at big brand, my calculated numbers are all within .1* I have gotten pretty good at doing it so it makes it easy to adjust things, especially with the SPC UCA's

IDK if TC UCA's can do any camber or caster but those #'s suck. If nothing is bent or wore out, there's no reason one side can't match the other, regardless of lift. I did mine myself. These are my numbers, which are good. The before is what I did myself in my garage & the current is what the tech felt would be best, but I have SPC LR UCA's.

Looks good man. ^ I had been looking back at old alignment sheets as I need to get mine redone and it seems like a decent amount of toe in the rear is just a common thing eh?

Made some adjustments to my coil overs and was able to get these numbers. It rides well and it’s straight.
