What's your caster at? I believe camber and caster play off eachother....so you'd want to take some caster away to get the camber back in check! The toe is seperate and is adjusted by the tie rods!

I'd tell them you want caster at 2.5-3 and everything else at 0. If they can't get it, I'd ask for your money back or an experienced person to try!

I also have camburg UCA's and tell them the #'s I'm looking for. Recently they had an issue with one of the cam bolts being locked up but got me 2.5 L/2.8 R for caster and 0.2-0.5 for the others!

Caster seems low. How does it drive though?

On another note (from the "rear suspension" thread) can you get me some measurements with your shocks/springs set up? Curious why I'm only getting 8.5" of travel? Thanks man!

Actually your camber is not the problem. Notice the camber spec is green? That means it's within the normal range. It's your caster that is the problem. I don't know how it would be with large tires but on my taco a caster spec like that would cause the steering to be loose and the truck would wander while cruising. It would be a fight to keep it in a straight line.

When the guy told you the camber was not adjustable he either was an incompetent moron or he already had the adjustment cams set to their max. If you post some pics of your cams I can tell you if that is the case for sure.

If the cams are maxed then you either need aftermarket LCAs or some kind of mod like what was posted earlier in this thread.

yeah he said everything was within spec but its wearing the outsides of my tires and i can see them leaning in. He also said they were maxed out! This isnt the same alignment shop as the one that said camber wasnt adjustable, this is an alignmnet shop that does alignments for our local offroad truck shop. He said he does alignments on trucks with 40s all the time. He asked me if i offroaded a lot and i told him yeah and he said that maybe something is twisted or bent, like the lca itself i bend, because my alignment tabs are fine

Sounds like the guy hasn't done many lifted 2nd gen Tacos because this is a common problem. After lifting so much the adjustments are maxed. I read somewhere that more adjustment range can be gained by grinding off the outside tabs.

Here's what I don't understand about your camber issue. +0.8 degres is hardly noticeable. Mine was worse than that and did not wear the tires unusually. It was nothing a periodic tire rotation would not handle.

Ur thinking tha same way I'm thinking, I don't understand either! I keep saying that its not that much but its so noticeable that I cant get over it! I think I'm just gonna lower my coils a lil bit and see if that helps :notsure:

Right side camber is too low.......going to cause wear on that tire!

Closest to 0 is ideal with caster being where its at!

Somebody is BSing you. You have excess negative camber on the right side. That means the bottom of the wheel is sticking too far out. That's the wrong direction for maxed cams unless something is bent or broken.

Aight so what should I do!? Dude told me if I figured something out within 60 days he would readjust it for free! So should I tell him I want more caster and then he should be able to adjust camber or should I lower my co's and see if that helps? Or anything else??

Hi Guys, just installed 5100's at .85, original coil springs, 17" stock taco wheels. Had alingment done, just doesnt feel right to drive, kind of jumpy and follows the curves and cracks in the road. Could someone tell me what I would want to have the alingment shop change to get it to drive and steer a little better, closer to original. I have the original uca's. Thanks
