I have Pirellis Scorpion AT tires. 265/65/17, I think they are the stock size. They didnt follow the ruts before. So do you guys think bumping up the caster a little higher on ea. side. and leaving the camber where it is would be the way to get rid of the squirrly feeling?

Yes. Increasing the caster should do it. DevL gave you the correct numbers. Try to get the cambers down too.

    More lift = more camber.

    Yes and yes.

I know old Camburg uca did not add caster. I have heard recent ones add caster. If you dont have the uca that adds caster that is certainly your issue... too much lift, not enough caster adjustment before you lose the ability to turn camber down. Less lift or adding caster at uca are the solutions.

Just to reiterate, first thing you should do is verify you do have a problem. Who knows? Maybe the alignment shop screwed up the numbers? I would start by putting a level against the right wheel and see how it compares with the left.

Had truck to alingment shop. Feels better now, less squirrelly on the road, tracks straight enough to hold steering wheel with one hand. Previously I could not do that, always correcting.

Weird thing though, after my Billie 5100 install on the fronts (orig coils .85 setting), the drivers side is now 1" lower than my passenger side measured from centre hub to bottom of fender.....Could that have something to do with why my left and right #'s are so different?

    After alingment #s

    Left front
    Camber -.4
    caster 1.7
    Toe 0.03

    Right front
    Camber -.2
    caster 2.1
    Toe 0.05

    Middle measurements, Front
    Total toe 0.08
    Steer ahead -.03

so all my cams are tacked and the tie-rods are marked with a sharpie.

I hit a gnarly ditch this weekend which knocked my toe out of alignment (steering wheel crooked).

I get out and inspect; cams all look good, welds have held, and the sharpies marks on the tie rod are all in line.

What could have happened? bent tie rod? something inside the rack?

Truck tracks perfectly straight like before, it's just the steering wheel is crooked.

Mine did the same thing, my steering wheel was dead center and now it is just barely turned, still tracks straight and alignment cams havent moved. Maybe possible to tweak the rack in its mounts? Or tweak the mounts themselves for the rack? Do you still have stock tie rods or heim steering?

I have stock rack but HD heim steering from Engage.

After it happened I did notice toe was a little out (more distance between tires in front than in rear), but only by about 1/8", so i cranked it in til it was negative by about 1/8".

    Everything else is fine.

Yep. I'd take it back. Try to get both casters up closer to 2.8 and about equal. F'n half-ass grease monkeys.

But it does feel ok to drive. Will it (I dont know what, tires or..) wear unevenly?
