So what caused the camber to go so negative? The UCAs or the spindles? Actually, even though those number are out of range they may not be half bad. How does it drive?

It drives fine. I am worried about tire wearing too fast... And they are saying it is the uca's which I agree with because with the Light racing uca's they were fine...

You might be OK with frequent tire rotations. Keep an eye on the inside edges of the front tires. Use the coin depth gauge to compare the inside groove with the outside groove.

Thank you for your help. Any other suggestions? Maybe see if I can switch out the UCA's with the other set I posted?

OK, so I just got my lift on and now need an alignment. We had to really shove the LCA down to get the coil assembly in and now I'm pulling to the right.

I think I'm gonna just go to the local Firestone, but my question is do I just have them align it according to factory specs? or does the lift affect what is "proper" alignment ?? Thanks

Shoot for 2.5-3 caster with everything else closes to 0, if you have after market uca's otherwise that will be difficult and factory spec is fine!

Ok, I still have factory uca so I guess factory specs it is.. see what they can do with the caster. Thanks

Ok guys, I feel kind of dumb asking this, but I'm going to ask anyway.

So I bought my Tacoma with a 6" Pro Comp Stage 1 Lift already installed. I need an alignment and the shop I took it too said I needed the specs for the Lift before they could do the alignment because if they didn't have those they could mess up where my steering wheel was centered and blah blah blah. I told them it was a drop bracket lift and it should align to factory specs but they didn't want to listen? Am I correct or am I wrong?

i was going to replace the entire passenger side lca. i doubt its the spindle since i have aftermarket, and i really dont think its the uca. the coil buckets are not bent either. i bent the drivers side lca before and it gave me a ton of negative camber

I installed 5100's yesterday and took my truck in for alignment today and they said they didn't know if they could align it. The guy said he didn't know if he could get the camber down far enough. What can or what should I do? The garage has my truck right now.

Take it to another shop to get a second opinion? A Bilstein lift should be no problem. Do you have anything else installed? Something could be bent or bad bushings.

I just picked up my truck and they said that they got it lined up. But just looking at it, seems like the _tires are tilted.

They should have given you an alignment spec sheet with all the numbers. Scan it and post.

Do the wheels look like this \---/ or like this /---\

They said there printer has been down and the wheels look like this \---/ but not slanted that much. I was going to ask the alignment tech about the specs but everyone was gone except the 2 women eho work up front.

That's called positive camber and normally there should be a very small amount of it. It actually helps with tire wear to have that small amount of positive camber to offset the small amount of negative from the rears. The amount should be so small that you should have a hard time telling just by visual.

hows my alignment look? said it was the best he could do and that it was maxed out?
My caster is pretty far from what i wanted at 2.4

it used to pull a little left, now it pulls a bit right.
