    Take it to a shop. You need an alignment machine to do it right and most people don't have one of those.

    On IFS vehicles...you can't really do a 'home' allignment. Special equipment is needed to check the overall position of the wheels for every possible adjustment they can make (toe, camber, caster).

    On solid front axle vehicles...you can adjust the toe adjustment and that's about it.

    because they have a solid front axle vehicle. If they said they do it themselves on an IFS, they only made the alignment worse.

    You can adjust the alignment with a tape measure. Alignments have been done manually long before the machines came out. It's like saying you can't do math without a calculator (sadly, this is actually true for most people.)

    If you're asking this question then you have no business doing an alignment. Nor am I doing a write up. I'm merely stating that it can be and has been done without a machine for a long time.

    Toe you can adjust with a tape measure. Set your steering wheel straight and measure the toe. You'll either have toe in (the distance between the front of the wheels is less than the back of the wheels) or toe out (opposite of toe in). Adjust to the proper specs (look them up)

    Caster is the angle which the steering pivot axis is tilted rearward or forward. If the top pivot is positioned further rearward than the bottom pivot then you have positive caster and vice versa. Once again can be measured and adjusted to the correct specs.

    Camber you can also adjust with a tape measure or string. Have the vehicle on level ground and check if the camber is in or out. Measure from the bottom of one rim to the bottom of the other. Adjust the camber to specs (look them up).

    Machines only make it easy for someone to look at a screen and have it tell them if it's right or wrong.

    If nobody has posted a writeup here....then obviously, you're not gonna get one.

    Good Luck doing the allignment yourself.

    Very true! I would imagine the only alignment you would want to attempt manually would be on a dedicated trail machine that won't see high speed travel.
