I had my truck aligned about a month ago. The camber was off and the outer edges of the tire were wearing. They aligned it ( I didn't get a spec sheet) and rotated tires and everything was fine.

I noticed last night the tires appeared to be wearing on the outside the same as the rotated tires and easing out at the top.

I got under the truck and looked at the camber bolts, and only two of the 4 were moved. I'll get pics tonight.

Anyone think the adjustment should have been spread over all 4 bolts? I am dropping it back off with Firestone in the morning and they are hooking it back up to see if it has come back out of alignment.

    Pics and info to follow!

So here are the numbers after the shop that aligned it the first time put it back on their rack. They say everything is good to go.

    Follow me here.

Worn outer edge on front tires. Back tires fine.

Front tires rotated to back and back to front.

A cpl days ago, noticed the tires that were rotated to the front (not worn) are now wearing the same place as the previous front tires.

If the alignment is in fact good, what would cause the wear on the outer edge of the front tires only?

Anyone else got an ideas why they would wear that bad on the outer edge of the tire?

Left front toe is almost out of spec and higher than I'd be comfortable with. I'd complain about that for sure.

    What's the tire pressure?

Check or have a shop check ball joints, tie rods, and wheel bearings. The toe as stated above isnt ideal but shouldnt be enough to cause noticabe wear on both outer edges.

I'll let you know in a while. I've got a meeting in a bit.

Tie rods are good. I'll check the rest. I wish I had my own machine.

That's a lot of miles on el cheapo stock tires. How old are they?
I'd have that toe corrected and not just "within spec". Maybe see if they can raise the caster a bit while they're at it.
