Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
I ran +0.5 degree camber, 0.05 deg toe in, and 2.9 caster. Handled nicely and tire wear looked even to me on 285/70-17 all terrains after about 13,000 miles.

edit: that was on LR UCAs, not Camburg.

    Yes
You do need a bit of toe as others mentioned because on a rear wheel drive vehicle as the ass end pushes the front end the front tires open up just a hair, it is called steer ahead. So the toe should be set so that when under way the front tires are straight and not scrubbing. Also - not all upper control arms actually correct any alignment issues. Some of them are just OE heavy duty replacements. Does Camburg state that the arms move the upper back to correct caster with a lift ?

    Right off Camburg's site

These arms gives many of the same benefits our uniball upper arms offer at a lower cost. The ball-joint arms also hold up better under wet harsh conditions compared to a uniball since it's a sealed & greased joint. With Toyota’s newer chassis, the factory ball-joint is considerably stronger & larger than in previous years. By building an upper arm to re-angle the ball-joint, you’re able to gain more wheel travel with extended length coilovers from FOX, King and Icon and keep the joint in its normal operating range. These arms also correct the suspension geometry by increasing much needed caster which improves handling and allows for a wider range of alignment adjustment. The tubular construction also gives you more tire & shock clearance compared to the weaker stock stamped sheet metal arm.

I did see an improvement in caster with the Camburg arms, but like the OP, not a huge one. I think it was about 1*

I set it to 3 caster, 0 camber, 0 toe. The shop set the passenger side to 3.2 caster and driver to 3.0 to counter road crown. This was with a 2.5-2.75" lift (OME kit) with Light Racing (SPC) UCAs.

    Yes
Did you have the same amount of lift when you had your OE UCA's ?

I had it at 1.75 before adding whopping 1.25 inches of lift. He might not have been able to get it to 2.0 or 2.2 but for 600.00 I would expect a lot more than what I got. And they never seem to answer the phone or respond to emails much at Camburg . So I tagged @motoxscott in one of his threads about this issue.

We've been on the phone all day answering calls, calling people back, dealing with walk-in customers and answering emails. You're also on the east coast so calling us in the morning doesnt hit our operating hours. To answer your email, that I just got to now .... ....

Camber is the more critical alignment spec to hit so you have no tire wear. You have an OME spring combined with a Bilstein 5100 shock and you said it's setup for 3" of lift. Well since that is on the taller side your caster will be lower because of the anti-dive built into your frame. The taller the ride height, the less available positive caster. We don't set up Tacoma's with that much lift with a coilover and upper arm. We typically set them up at 2.5" for a better ride and better geometry. I also talk to a lot of customer that mix and match parts like that and ride height was taller than the 3" as advertised.

My recommendation would be to lower the ride height slightly, it will greatly improve the ride and give you more positive caster. If you want the taller ride height, the draw back will be slightly lower caster. This holds true with any upper arm.

Guess I should have went with Light Racing as I did last time with my full 3 inch lift. Oh well I will know better next time as I don't keep my vehicles long. You should put that in the description of the UCA's that these really aren't meant for lifts over 2.5 inches if you want good caster. That way people aren't kind of being deceived and thinking if they go the full 3 inches they will be good to go.

I would of expected closer to 3* as well with any aftermarket UCA and 3* of lift.

This thread makes me glad i got the SPC arms.
