That's ashame, their uca's worked perfectly for me and I have 3" of lift.

Only thing I changed on our website is that I noted our arms are for 1-3" of lift, not more lift. We recommend 2.5" of lift for the best ride so you have more droop travel compared to a taller ride height.

Some of you are making this a much bigger issue than it is for some reason.

Really I probably could have gotten 1.9 to 2.0 Caster with my stock garbage UCA's and saved 600.00 on something that basically did no better

Rick those are your numbers/specs not mine that you posted. Every truck is different and will vary a little depending on the ride height, parts used and the truck. Maybe you're taller than a true 3", maybe your alignment guy isnt the greatest. Dont know what to tell you since you've made it so concrete what the problem is in your eyes. Put your stock arms on the way it is and you will even haven less caster.

A taller truck will have less caster than a truck slightly lower, no way around that. Blame Toyota for the geometry they build into the frame for that.

This isnt some new arm we just released, we've built hundreds with no alignment issues over years of use.

I'd have to dig for my alignment sheet, but this silly thread isn't worth the hassle. Neither is going out in the cold to take some measurements.

Well I am going to leave my truck at 2.7 Caster per side and the Passenger side at 0.4 positive Camber and the Driver's side at 0.5 positive Camber for a few months and see how it all goes. If I start to get tire wear I will have drop it back to 2.2 Caster and 0.0 positive Camber. I don't wheel or do any harsh driving so I think in the end 2.2 Caster will do the job.

Call it as you will, you just went to a shitty alignment tech...

I hope you eventually get the numbers your after though.

I'll be following this thread to see how it goes.

    Good luck

Wow so you come in being Camburg's hero and then won't show any proof of your claims? Then I guess you should have stayed out of this silly thread.

If you're gonna call me out, do a little more research please. This year we updated the arm to include the MOOG ball-joint and we changed the color. The arm itself has been readily available for years without the ball-joint installed. A color change and having a ball-joint pre-installed doesn't effect geometry.

Do you guys normally gang up on vendors that are actually come online interacting with enthusiasts and giving out 100% correct information ? Since when am I the bad guy?

Im done ... it's becoming a waste of all our time now. What's been said has been. PM or email us if you have questions, concerns, etc

I'll bite one last time since you keep implying I dont know what Im talking about. Im not new to this sport and have been involved in it for 20 years.

I'll educate you a little .... a MOOG ball-joint is a lower quality copy of the OEM Toyota ball-joint. That's why it's considered a OEM replacement part. Since it's a copy it will have the exact geometry specs regardless.

Doesn't matter what ball-joint is in the arm, the geometry is the same.

    Understand ?

Any time you get an alignment they should adjust caster, camber and toe (in that order). If one of the bolts is maxed out that will dictate how they set the others, but it doesn't make the next alignment any harder than the last one.

I was looking into Camburg UCA, seems stout but I could not find anybody with alignment # that I was looking for. Even if I would settle for 2.5" of lift I would have liked to have room to play on the caster. I called out for alignment specs on paper in a thread that Unchained5150 was involved in, but no or very little feedback, which made me suspicious. Also odd nowhere could I find the added caster to the Camburg UCA. So reluctantly I went back to LR UCA.

I did however find this thread with similar issue to Unchained5150. See section 11 down.
