Getting ready to install my 5100 with OME 888 and AAL. As what ive been reading here the front coilover will settle.. Should I wait for it to settle and then go in for an alignment or is it needed right after the lift? If were to get the alignment done before letting the coilover settle will that screw up the alignment?

Measure the truck center of hub to fender now.

Measure after the install. The difference of course is your initial lift.

If you daily drive, spend some parking lot time on speed bumps/tables. Take it off road on mild roads. The up and down motion will help any settling more than just highway miles.

Measure at the end of the week. If it's down some, it's probably safe to align.

You don't want to eat up tires because of being out of align from the lift. So don't wait too long.
