Not sure if you're still active. What kind of lift are you running? Do you have much rub from the 285's?

 

Not sure what he is using but there is a bit of rubbing for me on the frame, but w the riggt allignment n shaving my pinch weld in the back I get zero rubbing in my rear fender well. Not sure about the front bumper, but you can always trim it a bit.

 

Time to help get this revived again....I'm sure there's some updates from prior contributors or other black 1st genners that could get some more pix in here. I'd been looking for something worthy after the loss of my prized white 1998 Toyota T100 (thanks, Huricane Harvey). So, here's the new addition to our little family- it's an '04 PreRunner with 123k miles, that we just picked up 2 weeks ago. The 1st pic is how it looked from the dealership, and the next ones are after the addition of a couple of decals, and some new "shoes". I'd gotten these black factory wheels and BFGs brand new from a 2016 TSS model, and had them on my T100.

It's a 2WD, but I'm not a wheeler or crawler: I hunt, camp, fish, so as long as I have some height on my truck, I'm good (plus, got some MaxTrax juuuust in case ). Within a few months, we should have a nice Toytec/Bilstein 3" lift, to get it to a decent stance. Wet Okoles and K&N intake are already in route, and starting the search for the right steps and bed & roof rack ... more to come- CHEERS!

It was a option to have the bumpers color matched. My truck came like that too

 

+1. Mine ('01 Limited) has it too. They actually termed it "Black Chrome" for some reason but I think it's just paint.

 

Yea my truck just came with it when I bought it, and they are 16X8 wheels with 285/75 Cooper tires.

 

Nice headlights. Where can I get one?
