From what I can find the FJ has a 4.84" backspacing. It sticks out 15mm more than the sport TRD 17s.

Good to know , thanks .

So basically I would have to add 1 1/4 " spacers to get out to where you will be with 3/4" spacers

Yep. I had seen the factory Sport 17s with 1.25" spacers and I liked the look of them. Since my FJ wheels already stuck out a little more I didn't want the full 1.25" so the 3/4" should be just right for me. Only problem was that Spidertrax doesn't make a 3/4" spacer so I had to go with a company in NV which makes them. They were about the same price as Spidertrax and they are hubcentric and wheel centric so I should be good.

Still waiting on them. I got a tracking number and they should be here Tuesday of next week. Supposedly there was an issue with the anodizer being shut down for Easter and then their supplier of their studs sent a shipment to the wrong address. Then he promised he was going to change my shipping to 2nd Day Air, but he didn't.

I really like them so far. I have 1600 miles on them. They are quiet with just a hint of all terrain moan to them. Ride is good and I haven't had any issues keeping them balanced. They are nice and smooth all the way up to 80. I have no regrets getting them. My other choice was Duratracs mainly because I love the way they look, but I didn't want to pay the extra cash for them, plus I have heard some complaints about them wandering on the highway and that is where 95% of my driving is.
