    Restorers do not last, they restore the color and don't protect usually. A UV protective coating will usually help protect against the loss of the black color (still needs to be applied at certain intervals depending on how you wash your truck). I put a protectant on mine ~3 times a year.

    Chemical Guys Trim and Tire gel is one of my fav products to date.

    Looks like the OPs trucks previous owner didnt have a garage and he used a lot of autowashes. Those things use detergents that suck the life out of plastics and rubber.

    We will see how long it last. Ill check-in about 2-3 months and let you know how it looks. I heard that using this stuff helps protect it after using the Solution Finish that i used.
