I programmed a new all-in-one for my late model 2014 DC TRD OR no problem following the online instructions. It took me two tries but I got it. I followed Chad's instruction and posted a link in another AIO thread.

Im just curious, but my truck came with only power door locks, but not keyless entry, does anyone know if this feature is built into the computer of the truck, and just needs to be activated, or is there a seperate system that needs to be installed to get keyless entry to work? My truck is a 2014 DCSB Auto V6 4x4. Because i have been thinking about buying a remote and trying it out just to see if it will do it or not. Worth a shot.

Order placed for VW flip style key. How would I donate the chip from another key? You mentioned simply sliding it in with glue. Will it be evident once I have the key in hand?

I'm pretty sure it needs to be reprogrammed via the computer. I tried that same thing, bought a remote and tried to program the remote using the step by step directions of turn on off, etc. It did not work. As you might expect there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to some of the trucks and how they are set up from the factory so you really never know. Best case scenario you get a 12 dollar fob and try it and hope it works for you, worst case it doesn't and now you know where to go from there. Good luck, let me know how it turns out for you hope you have better luck, I'm in the same boat.

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
Exactly what I've been looking for: an all in one key (preferably folding) for my Tacoma.

I liked the key FOB on my Accord. When I came back to the Tacoma was reminded how old these vehicles were with the 2 piece FOB.

Just ordered one...excited to give this a shot.

Thanks for the reply. I wonder if thats all there is to it? Because i cant find anything about a module or anything that needs to be added on. Just seems that theres nothing, like you either got it already installed or you didnt, lol. They said that about the cruise control to, and i just bought the switch, followed the directions on here and added it myself for about 40 dollars.

A slot in the flip key. Very obvious when you see it. You have to mention this... If you don't. I will put a blank chip in the slot and it will be a pain for you to get out.

Yes you did BUT then you ask how you can transfer a chip into it. If you want to put a chip of your own, you have to mention that. That way you don't have to disassemble everything I did and risk breaking the key in order to remove the blank chip I installed.

I left the chip out as your not sure what you want to do. That way you can use your own chip without breaking key apart. If you decide to program the blank chip(inside envelope), just put some glue and slide it in. Easy!
