The pricing is up to the shop. I don't get involved with that.

I can answer that as I recommended the shop. The price is actually $20 cheaper than what I paid. I purchased a key for $60 from neneago and paid $100 to cut and program.

I called all over the Sacramento area and the prices ranged from $115 to $250. Keys Plus was the cheapest at $100. They were fast and did a great job. I was worried about my Pop N Lock, but the key works as it should.

Has anyone tried the programmer on eBay for $15? It plugs into the OBD port... I don't have the link at the moment... traveling to Street Vibrations in Reno.

Which key is it (I see there is a normal key and a flip key)? The price you mentioned seems a bit high to me, but maybe it's in line with what others are paying. At that price it might get pushed off of my need list and onto the want list. Let's wait to see what @neneago says...

Tried to get my flip key programmed for the Transponder. No luck two different places. I bought mine on 9/2/15, before he went to distributor only. I emailed @neneago, I'll see what he says.

He's already emailed me back with ideas for the locksmith. Probably didn't do one step. Fast response, good attitude.

Quote from an email "You will have a fully functional key."

On the 4th email exchange now.

Can't put in flip key once one is in, transponder is glued, different than the other ones.

    I'm with you, at $140 I'll probably wait ..
    Will see....

EDIT: These are ALL non distributors of the key I got. None yet in Las Vegas.

In Vegas it's all over the place. At one place $150 at the store, they couldn't get it to work, no charge. Another $75 but techs are always gone and mustsa paya cashie. Another $65 but too far away. More than a few on hold, click disconnect, or multiple changes of music as it goes through messaging services. Another advertises car keys but don't do complicated new keys..... Etc etc, many phone calls. One said $30 to come out, minimum is $90 with service fee included but if it's complicated the tech determines the fee. LOL....... I see a boat payment due........

The web search is funny, more than once I get with a local number, I get a "What state and city operator?", to be connected to a locksmith. I called 20-30 different results, finally found one close to me buried 3 pages down on Google.

Hopefully the OP will have links to the distributors on his web page once it gets rolling. Might need a major web page update.

Found one close to me, $40 at his place but had issues, great guy. Will try again tomorrow, he'll have updated info from the OP why it didn't program. Minor issue with type 5 transponder chip I think.

If he gets it to work, he could be the Las Vegas Distro guy.

So if the $40 guy works, then it's a total of $105. I just hate the key/FOB setup for the Tacoma so I pay. Why not like my wife's 2009 Nissan Altima? Heck my old 2001 Dakota had a 2 piece setup. Get with the times! I got's a 2014 Potato, not a 1979 K-car.

    What's the 2016 have? Curious.

Update: Success! Key works in the ignition, just have to program the buttons now. It's 107 in my garage right now, so tomorrow AM.

Edit, all is good. I decided to run the garage AC for 2 hours so it was only 95f at 10:30 PM. Got it programmed. The all 4 door unlock takes a bit longer pause between the pushes, but the range is pretty darn far! I was at least 50' from the truck and it works. I did get one with the upgraded antenna. Ohh, it's the flip key.

Thanks OP! Great product! Just gotta get the locksmiths on the right track.

Hopefully the guy who did mine follows through for a distro in Vegas, nice guy and reasonable price.

So if you have a 2015 4 cyl base model and don't have a transponder chip and just need the right remote FCC version.

    What do we do?

As your website says not to call and ask someone to ship them.

    I am in North Carolina,

I am trying to pay for an all in one remote w/key. But I just need it to unlock/lock the truck. I don't have a transponder.

Get a locksmith or a lock shop to become a distributor. Even the cutting of the key has been a hassle for several people.

    No thanks,

Why did you stop just selling the keys?

I can't understand why one of your "distributors" can't just sell me a single key.

I'll even mail a USPS MO if they need me too.

If 50% of the items you sold were being returned because...
-Cutting errors(locksmith says your key is bad)... Dumb person can't even cut key
-Programming(locksmith says your key is bad)... Don't have proper equipment
-That key wont work (locksmith doesn't even try)
-I don't cut/program keys unless you buy from me....

I get calls/emails almost daily where I have to teach a "locksmith" how to use their own equipment. Nothing special about my key...So if they can't program my key, they can't even program a simple key.

I give you my word I won't return it,
I'm willing to have it sold to me with NO returns at all, AS IS.

I have a great business pal who works closely with my fathers alarm security company.
He owns his own locksmith business. He is fantastic, Been a locksmith for over 35 years.

I am confident in his key cutting ability and I am willing to risk it as my truck doesn't have an immobilizer chip.

I just need it to work my keyless entry and such.

I'm sorry to be reading this, I'm really happy with my multi-key, and especially the flip key!
Too bad people can't figure these keys out...
