I have the all-in-one key and I'm pretty happy with it, but the range is pretty miserable. Any tips/tricks/modifications to increase it? With a fresh battery it's only good for about 25 feet.

Just got a flip key last week. The antenna is very good in it. Reading through this topic, it looks like an enhanced antenna was used on the most recent ones.

Got mine a few months ago. Has the newer antenna. It's in this thread showing the difference. My range is over 40' methinks.

No, it's the circuit card. So essentially it would I think be the same price as a new one.

Website indicates that the flip key is only available through an "authorized distributor." The closest one is in CT, which is not going to work because I'm in Jersey. Any other options here?

Do you have to purchase a whole new key? My v1 key has pretty crappy reception and I'd love for it to work better... Like not having to press it 3 or 4 times to get it to work.

And how much is the new key /chip?

I'm not sure, @neneago would have to provide available options and pricing.

I'll try and take a video of mine. It's so intermittent. Sometimes I can be a foot away and have go press the button 10 times before it responds.. it's embarrassing standing there pointing a key from a foot as nothing happens. I've even gone as far as busing a brand new battery. No difference.
