Just got home from the Toyota dealer after they cut and programmed the key. It works perfect. The service guy was skeptical and even came asked me a second time about the possibility of it not working. He said it was the first time they'd done a key like this for a Tacoma.

Shipping was incredibly fast too. I paid on Saturday and it arrived Monday. Wow!

Many thanks to neneago for producing such a useful little thing.

Just purchased. Sent you a followup message as there is a dot on my key and not a G.

EDIT: FYI neneago responded to my message on eBay within a few minutes. I'd say that's pretty decent customer service.

Can 2005 and newer Tacomas owners with dot chip keys try this method. I want to update video description to advice owners about programming their transponder chip. Hopefully it works for the tacoma and people can save some money. You do not need a new key in order to see if truck goes into programming mode.

ALL IN ONE KEY AWESOMENESS So I bought my truck and the previous owner only game me one key. I know right just one. I did ask about any extra keys he said idk where they are. Anyways so I came across this thread about an all in one key and I thought well hey that's awesome. So I contacted neneago and he hooked me up with one of these.
I drove all the way from Kodiak, Alaska 99615 just to find him and purchase this key. So this key looks like one of them 2009 Toyota Corolla keys. This one in particular has 3 buttons tho. Lock, unlock, and pantic button configuration. This guy programmed it quickly and had me set in a matter of minutes. I highly reccommend this key for you guys and gals needing a spare key or just wanting this style key. Also find him on eBay he's the only one selling theses keys.
Thank you so much neneago awesome product.:D:D:D

My key will be coming in tomorrow. Kind of excited about this for some reason, there will be 1 less item on my key-chain, Lol. Can't wait to bring it in to work and have one of my techs program it for me.

This could have been a great thread/endeavor but as soon as I see "shadyness" I'm out. I don't know if this is on purpose or just not having the communication skills but take this thread to the marketplace and plaster the link, price, specs all over it and I guarantee you will have difficulty keeping up

~from a guy who hates the separate keyfob key system... come on Toyota.

OP, I understand your reluctance to post detailed price info, links, etc in this forum but isn't that why we have a vendors area? Can you start a thread there with detailed info?

I tried posting on Toyota nation and any detail I gave got my posting deleted. My IP got banned. I come to this forum trying to be very careful not to get banned and people consider that shady.
I didn't start in the vendor area because I wasn't really selling the item. I wanted to get a feel for how many people were interested. I'm currently working on an upgraded circuit board that will bring cost down.

Happy customer here. Got the key in two days, swapped chip from old, bent key into new one, programmed buttons in a single try and had it cut for $2 at local hardware store.

    Totally worth it.

Thanks for putting this together neneago, shipping was fast also, I got tired of waiting on my programmer from ECUTOOL.com to come in so I went by the Stealership and had one of the Tech's (who owed me a favor) program the key for me. Everything works just like it came from the Factory.

Updated mother board might be out within a month. For all that bought first version, don't worry. New version is not any better. Just less components and it might bring cost down a bit.

How many would like to eliminate the remote/fob? Working on a bluetooth OBD adapter that will be controlled from a smart phone. Will be able to open/close doors with android app. Not sure if we can do Iphone app yet.

That has more features BUT I think is has to be connected with an aftermarket alarm system.
The one I might sell will be a little adapter that will plug into your obd2 port. That's it. No wiring, no paying anyone to install it.
The adapter will be adjusted to the OEM frequency of the car. Will talk to your phone via Bluetooth.

You would program adapter the same way you would a regular Fob.
