    it’s all backstory and filler. I enjoyed it but for the most part it’s pretty forgettable with the exception of the post-credit scene which I’m sure will be revisited with Hawkeye.

    That was my guess. A 2hr+ movie just for the post credit scene so we get a new character added to the MCU. It’s basically the same reason for Captain Marvel’s standalone movie.

    Went to the late showing & just got back a bit ago. I enjoyed it but I question the direction the MCU is going in.
