First mockup came out pretty good. Just need to adjust a few things and these things will be ready to pump out:cool:

Bumper will fill the gap of the fog light cut out on the oem top half bumper?

There is really nothing left of the OEM bumper on the truck. Only the little spots under the head lights.

Mock up looks good, I like how the "gussets " tie it all together with the skid plate. Interested...

I stopped by today to check measurements on the fairlead mount. We took measurements of the 2nd gen bumper because the 3rd gen one wasn't in the shop. The guy helping me said the fairlead mount dimensions were the same for both models. Rough measurement from the top edge to the center of the fairlead mounting holes was a little less than 2" (looked to be ~1.75"). Compared with the smittybilt x2o roller fairlead, this does not look like it will fit by (0.5"-0.75"), but I'm not sure if another brand may have different dimensions. Just wanted to pass that along for anyone else curious.

I wish you would of asked for me, He had no clue why you were here lol. I have the 3rd gen bumper on the truck on the other side of the shop. They are the same fairlead mount on both bumpers so if it won't fit on the 2nd gen it's not going to fit the 3rd gen.

Honestly I would ditch that steel cable for some synthetic line and a hawse. Cleaner, safer & lighter.

I'm definitely considering that. I'm still trying to decide if I can justify the cost of switching to synthetic on top of a new bumper. Any recommendations on a synthetic line if I were to swap out? I'm still very new to all of this.

Any pictures of how the full headlight hoops connect with the 3 piece design? Also, do you have an estimated weight for the all steel version?
