    I don't think it's the same issue. The problem that seems to beleaguer the 2015s (and the subject of this thread) is just about a 6" strip from the bottom of the door up, along the length of the door. It's where they applied a plastic strip to protect from scuffing during transport. In the post referenced above by you, the issue is up by the door handle and appears to be wear related.

    In & Out of the dealership in under an hour. New door panel looks great.

    I researched it on line and based on the part number the retail price of the panel is $631. I know Toyota doesn't pay that much for it, or to produce it if they make it themselves, but add in the reimbursement to the dealership for the labor and it can't be cheap. Toyota may want to rethink the application of the protective plastic strip for transport.

    Getting my door panel replaced on Monday, they figured an hour or so job. Also noticed that my fog light button is sticking and won't turn on/off very well so let's see if they can fix that as well.
