Pullin yet another all nighter. Engineering is kicking my ass but it also got me to thinking what everyone does for work?
I'll start with I'm a full time student!

There's a thread on here about this already, I'll try and find it.

So, what kind of engineering are you doing? I'm in my 2nd year of Mechanical engineering and a few math and physics classes are kind of kicking my ass too..

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.

finishing my second year now. I'm co-oping too so i know the feeling of working constantly. If you guys ever need help in school, let me know and I'll do my best to help. I've worked my ass off and I've got a 4.0 so far.

The main engineering classes i've finished are:
    Physics 1
    physics 2
    all maths
    statics
    dynamics
    kinematics
    thermo
    matlab
    cad stuff.

    I'm mechanical too.

Seems similar to me. I'm mechanical with a minor in nuclear and arabic. So far i have finished (not including gay ass electives like english, insects in human society, creative and aesthetic experience, etc.)

Math (ending with multi-variable and differential equations)
    Programming for engineering applications
    physics (Mech and E&M)
2x Freshman engineering and first ME courses
Manufacturing processes lab (AWESOME class learned to weld and use industrial machinery)
    Elementary Arabic

    This semester I am in:
    English elective
    Nuclear Fuel cycle
    Intermediate Arabic
    Statistics for engineering apps
and the two that are kicking my ass: Electrical Theory and statics

I ended up dropping statics last semester due to time issues (18 hours of homework a week plus traveling every weekend for rugby = poor performance)

    EMT looking for Urban work.

My GF is a Geomatics engineer and my buddy is Manufacturing.

Stick in there! It just keeps getting tougher till mid way through year 3! I've seen it a few times!

But yes, my line of work commands me to work either 0600-2000 or 1700-0700.
Although I did have a stint of a really sweet 1200-0000. Now that was nice. :)

As for my major, as I said, i'm in my second year. I've got through all the intro classes, a materials science class, the machining/welding/fabrication classes, and all my writing(doing tech writing this term), and all CAD except for the solid modeling class. I just started my calc based physics sequence and didn't take any in HS so thats probably why its tough for me now as its all new. As for math, i'm taking integral calc now(im a term behind in math due to course conflicts last term) and next term i'll be doing vector calc. Next term I'm doing a engineering class on electrical circuits, that should be interesting.
As I stand now, I think I'll just do the major over a slightly more laid back 5 year period, as long as I stick with it. I've thought about switching to some other majors like geomatics/surveying, renewable energy engineering, or maybe a forestry engineering major. IDK, we'll see how things go and what i decide over the next couple of terms.

I don't think there is one about college classes or school classes though. That might be nice for those of you that might be studying the same things.

Another MechE student here, also in my 2nd year.

I'm about a semester behind due to the fact that I scheduled my first semester late, so I have a lot of my gen eds out of the way.

Sounds like I'm a fucking idiot compared to some of you guys though haha.
