Hey everyone. I’m a new member. This is my first post.
My question is what are all of the parts that I will need for a 3” suspension lift? I have a 2009 4.0L 4WD 2dr Extended cab(access cab?). It’s all stock so far.
I’m thinking of installing the Bilstein 5100s front and rear with an OME AAL and possibly replace the needle bearing with a clamshell.
    1) Should I buy coil overs or use my stock springs? I’d prefer to reuse my stock springs. And just buy the shock.
    2) Is it necessary to install the clamshell and replace the needle bearing?
    3) Will I need to extend my front or rear brake lines?
    4) Will I need to replace any of my control arms?
    5) Lastly, what parts am I overlooking that I’ll need, or will have to be reenforced/replaced.
Sorry for all of the questions. Thanks in advance!

    1) I'd recommend new springs so that you don't preload the stock'ers. It'll ride better on springs that aren't preloaded.
    2) It'll be a crap shoot but most members that I've talked to have had to put in the ECGS sleeve bearing after lifting. I had the rumble too.
    3) No, not in the front. Backs depend on what you do for the lift and subsequent droop.
    4) Yes. If you want a decent alignment. You won't get enough caster without and it'll wander.

There's an FYI thread in the suspension area that'll give you more info.
