Hey guys, picked up a All-pro Baja bumper yesterday. I have an 04 Ext cab. I unbolted the stock bumper last night and went to try and fit the new bumper over the mount spots where the crush cans would be basically I think. And I ran into some problems with tight fitment. And what seems to be extra metal that needs to be cut in order to fit the bumper mounts up. Any tips from guys who have mounted this bumper in the past would be awesome ! It seems like I have to cut that point in the metal right after the nut bolt in point in the 3rd pic. But seems odd. Thanks guys!IMG_2096.jpgIMG_2099.jpg IMG_2100.jpgIMG_2103.jpg

you gotta cut the tips off of those horns.

otherwise, it should be a tight but manageable fit. i was able to get mine on by myself with some patience.

did you get new bolts for mounting? with the passenger side under frame bolts being longer to accept the tow hook, you may need to put the hook back on until you can get shorter bolts.

Sucks that' you buy a product that's supposed to be a bolt on, only to find that it's not a clean fit! I get it that you will be able to ( make it work) . But when it says bolt on for a specific year make and model , the thing should be just that!
Send pics of the finished install please

    "minimally modified bolt-on-ish"

i still love mine and the install was about as easy as it gets for something so radically different than the stock bumper

    Damn, what backspacing?
I just put on 255/85's 33.3" skinnys and I was rubbing on the UCA. Got a 1" spacer but I rub on the frame now at full lock

Lifted? Everything I've heard is a 2.5" lift is OK for 33s.

Like 3.5 or 3.75? Something like that.... I have Camburg UCAs if that helps and .75 hubcentric spacers

Ahhh, okay makes sense. The backspacing+spacers really gets those tires out. I need to get some new UCA

What brand are your hubcentric spacers? All I can find are 1.5" or larger. I only need 1/4" to clear the brake calipers with the backspacing on the pro-comp steelies, but I'd run a 3/4" if I could find it.
