also note all the QA issues that all pro has been having on their leafs lately.

Buy dakar HD's for ultimate flexability as far as AAL's

I've been running Dakars for a year now. Really wanted the Allpro expo's got tired of waiting and waiting on them to come back in stock. I'm running with a camper shell, bed/drawer platform, tools, recovery gear, HC bumper, and full spare. I have no complaints on the ride or how they handle a constant load. The few trips to home depot with big loads, and yet they held up. Mine do squeak a good bit, but I believe the newer ones, do not as bad. Over all I'm happy and would recommend them.

Mine have been on my truck since 2015 and make less noise than the factory leaf and I spend plenty of time on dusty trails. I do try and avoid mud...maybe that's the difference.

I have the old style Dakar with the 3rd leaf removed and about 250lbs of gear in the bed. I'm planning on pulling them this spring to add the 3rd leaf back in and clean/repaint the leaf pack...they sag a bit more than I like with the RTT on. I'm running about 2" of lift up front for reference.

Mine were totally silent till I started towing my boat. Now, when I’m not towing/hauling they sound absolutely ridiculous...

Are yours squeaky as well? And did you go with the HD or mediums. I’ve got a similar setup but need the extra umph to carry the occasional lumber load. thanks

Any thoughts on running expos with just 1.75” billy 5100s on the front? Would it look totally ridiculous? I’ve got a camper and a roof rack on my access cab probably about 300lbs constant. But I do construction so often have tools and or lumper/materials so wanting to be able to handle the occasional heavier loads and of course my camp gear.
    Thanks everyone.

I have had both OP. IMO, Dakars are better. Yes the AllPro rode a bit smoother, but they definitely didnt last as long. Like less than 2 years.

My current Dakars, HD + AAL, i have had for 3 years.

Actually, will be switching these out for some Deavers, eventually. And Id expect to sell these for some decent $

Towing hasn't been an issue for my Dakars. Maybe you lost an isolator between some of the leaf springs?
