That's good to know, thanks. I might look into the LF240s or even their HIDs. I'm not a fan of converting halogen lights to HIDs. I have a couple of the Kragen 7" lights that I have for the roof, which I remove when I'm not off-roading and I like them. Just need and want more light and want a few lights on the truck, all of the time.

I think that I'm going to go with the AP bumper, but trying to decide if I want to order it with or without the top hoop. Does anyone have the bumper without the hoop? I'm curious to see what it looks like.

But they might charge $ 30. - $40. for it
if you later wish to add it. ~just sayin', IDK~

yes... All-Pro sells parts of that bumper separately.
well... 'least Jon sold me a replacement lower hoop when I asked.
and he stated at the time, they could now offer individual parts FS
because they now do their own fabrication in house.

I'll assume the current management does too. :notsure:

Hey guys with the off-road lights mounted on the bumper under the grill loop. I was wondering how you mounted them, did you drill through the tube and do a bolt on or is there some sort of mounting hardware that will interface the the bumper? Thanks!

Also, how necessary is the IFS skidplate/is it worth the extra 125 bucks?

02 Tacoma, fixed with curse words.
I chopped my hoop off finally, i hated that thing it didnt protect crap and made working on the engine a PITA. I like the bumper, i bent the ever living hell out of the right side tube where the skid bolts to, but other than that its good. I didnt like the look at first but it grew on me, and i like it because its light. The skids are pretty damn tough, mine are all mangled up but do the job. I am going to cut a recess in them so i can change a CV without having to remove the skid (SUCKS on the trail/at camp). I also dont like how the forward most bolt for the winch mouts is all but unaccessable (you can see where i cut the hole open more to reach it) perhaps they have fixed this, my bumper is almost 10yrs old now.

I always thought those side hoops were cheezy, however they have saved my fenders pretty much every time i have went wheeling.

Rock taco: that skid plate is 100% necessary if you wheel, if not dont bother buying it.

    Too much but not enough!
Just got mine today. Anyone have any major front end sag after installing the bumper with a winch?
