I have a all pro hidden hitch and almost NOTHING fits inside of it! I only have one trailer hitch mount that fits in it. Anyone else have an issue like this?

People don't refer to them as All-Poo for nothing lol

Have you taken measurements of the inside to see if it's square?

I don’t have any problems with mine. Are the problem ones low weight rating with thinner wall tubing that has sharper corners?

    Different class types

    faq262-trailer-hitch-receiver-sizes_2_500.jpg

Your post is a bit vague so unsure if you meant the same class type doesn't fit, or if you're unfamiliar with the different class types.

I wasn’t aware of this. I thought 2” was 2”. My 12” drop hitch fits just fine

my bike rack does not fit, my shackle does not fit, my 3” drop hitch does not fit

No worries, we all have to start somewhere

Different class types refer to different tongue weight/towing capabilities.

A sleeve is used when going down a class size.

    Wait

    I’m not trying to put a 1 1/4 in a 2 or a 2.5 in a 2

they are both 2” just one fits and one doesn’t

Like I mentioned, look and see if it’s the corners that are hitting. Thinner wall tubing has a smaller bend radius in the corners. If it’s only a bike rack, grinding the corners off a tiny bit isn’t going to matter.

Looks like paint is flaking & a bit of rust spotting. Clean it up with a wire brush or sandpaper, especially in corners.

Seems like the hitch is slightly larger than the receiver, you've noticed, that won't work. It's mandatory, the receiver needs to be slightly larger than the hitch. Duuuuuh!!
