This is my first post on here, so I hope I'm posting this in the right place. So I ended up snagging a used All-Pro Long Travel Kit, ucas, lcas, limit straps, extended cvs and all for $600. It's their newer kit, not the older one, and needs to be completely rebuilt and repainted. So my question is, should I even bother rebuilding this kit, or should I turn around and sell it? There seems to be nothing but poor reviews for all-pro's long travel set up, specifically their first ones they came out with, but I can't find a ton about their newer kit. I'm selling my extended travel kings to a buddy and ordered long travel coilovers so it wouldn't be too late to cancel the order since they're so far out. Does anyone have any first-hand experience with this kit? Should I ditch it while I can or is it worth keeping and rebuilding? Part of me is thinking that might be a good starter kit and that I could potentially switch over to TC's in the future since I'll have the right coilvers, I don't know though. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you can swap the kings over then no harm in refreshing the kit if it’s getting you solid alignment numbers. What’s your plan for the truck?

Dalandser that's kind of what I'm thinking, no harm in trying it out I guess right?? It'll mainly be used for low speed/ crawling applications for a bunch of the trails we have over here in Utah. I don't plan on using it for high speed, just trying to get some more travel and articulation to keep up with the rear end. My main concern was the fact that it was All-Pro and it seemed like they had a ton of negative reviews, especially for their older LT kit. This is their newer one so maybe it's different, who knows. I talked with Darkgoatracer on here who built rebuilt the older kit a few months back and it's been working out for him. Considering how cheap I got it for, I guess I don't have much to loose. The alignment is definitely a concern of mine though.

Can you install it as is and see what kind of alignment you can get prior to rebuilding it? Plus just ask for part numbers from TC / King to make sure if you decide to keep the idea of switching as a backup plan you can keep the coilovers.

To put it on it would need new bushings, uniballs, misalignment spacers, etc, since they've all been pulled off. And from the looks of it, yes, the coilovers are compatible with TC +2. I guess I don't have much to lose rather than just trying them on at this point once I'm able to rebuild them.

I’m not the example of financial responsibility to follow, but in that route the best / worst case scenario is you have a nicely refurbished kit to sell instead of a beat up one but may not make as much profit on it.

True. Well I guess we'll see how it all turns out here in a couple of months when King ships out the coilovers. :fingerscrossed:

    Sell it.

I have their first generation kit. I wish I didn't.
