yeah ok.. we only took about 10-11 hours of actual install time at All-Pro to install my kit...but we pretty much stopped at every conceavable step during the install to take pictures (lots of them) for future install directions for the actual kit....

the LT kit is just plug n play...a simple bolt on kit..upper control arms, lower control arms, steering links, brake lines, shocks, bump stops, alignment...wham bam bahddah bing bong..done!

it's the drop bracket kit that will take more then a day as that has actual cutting and chopping

EDIT: ok so i lied...totaly forgot that there is welding involved...to weld the reinforcement gussets to the spindles...10-15 minute job on each side tops

Hey MonkeyProof, did you ever find out what the difference was between those fox shocks that you got for your LT and all the other new style fox shocks that are beings sold for these trucks everywhere else?

 oh man, i thought i got back with you on that..

the stroke on the LT version is a little longer as compared with the other versions. also, there is an internal bottom out/top out thingy inside the shock that eliminates the use of limit strap.

Nice, ok, I made up my mind. With this kit do you have to replace the front bumper? I will be replacing it, but I was curious if I have to get it replaced right away. Also what kit do you get for the rear?

They aren't included with the kit. They are an additional $500.

It's an internal bump stop. It stops the droop right before the cv shafts bind.

no, you dont need to replace it right away...i dont think you even need to replace your fenders. the all pro LT kit is bad ass. finally somebody who decided to go w/ a performance susp and not a lift kit! GOOD CALL!!!

in my opinion that would be a good choice...the benifits and performance of the LT out wieghs any drop bracket style lift..

for my rear setup i have the All Pro 3" leaf pack, adjustable Fox resi shocks, and Timbren bump stops with extended brake lines. it's a great overall setup with the LT kit. i don't think you would have to swap out the front bumper with the LT kit if you are running 33" tires (the LT kit is designed/optimized for 33's). if you plan on running 35"s like i chosed to do then you will need an after market high clearance bumper for sure.

you should give All Pro a call if you have any more questions regarding the LT kit..

Thanks everyone. The thing that scares me the most is the price, but I am working my ass off this summer to try to get this done. I cant wait to feel the ride. So how much am I looking at spending for this kit? I know its gonna be a lot, so i'm curious.

You should check to see if your upper control arm is hitting your coils on full droop. That's most likely where the clunk is coming from. If that is happening I recommend limit straps or you could end up snapping the top of your spindle off.

That has all the prices for you. Don't forget to add the shocks and extended half shafts if you're 4x4.

....just to let you know that with our August sale, you'd save $675 off the full kit this month!

Base Kit - $2795 (Extended Upper & Lower A-Arms, HD Double Heim Steering Kit, Spindle Gussets, Brake Lines)

    Shocks - $1395 (Fox 2.5" Remote Res)

    Axle Shafts - $495

    Timbren Bumpstops - $169

    TOTAL - $4854 - 675 = $4179!

We have a few kits left in stock.

As mentioned, the hardest part of the install is changing out the axle shafts. We now have detailed install instructions (thanks to SiRMarlon for the pics).
