I don't really see anything to argue about.

Regarding begging him to accept your $, well, that's your call. I don't know that I'd call it begging; maybe more just painting a very clear picture. I'm just pointing out as a business owner, letting him do some math in dollar figures may help your case. But whether or not you wanna do that is up to you.

The with that, jandrews, is people don't know how much they need in hand to make that statement.

I thought that was the purpose of this thread.

That's why HE made it man....and he has hardly given us any feed back.

exactly...how much are we talking here? Is it gonna be a 5-6 hundred dollar bumper like before or will they charge more for it now because there's a clear demand for it??? :goingcrazy:

once we get a set price THEN we can get a 100% on board roster going...

I think you can ballpark it reasonably. Most aftermarket front bumpers fall between $700 and $1000, maybe a little north or south of that range depending on features.

So, pick an arbitrary average and base it off that? Or go "worst case scenario" and set the "price" high enough that you know you're covered, say $1200. Or do two lists, one with a "worst case" price and one with a "best case" price ($650?). Or whatever. Gather data, is what I'm saying.

I'm not disputing that; he hasn't given much feedback lately. You can lament that or keep working on it. Your call. I'm just tryin' to give ideas if you choose to go with the latter option.

assuming that itused to be cheaper than the plate bumpers before, hopefully it doesnt come up to $1200.
lol... if its not much less than the plate, id just go with the plate bumper...

I'd do it for $700. Without a doubt. It'll just take me a few months to gather the funds.

I truly wanna thank everyone for their input, and say to all of you that im on your side with this bumper.. Yes the purpose of this thread is to find a way to reproduce the hybrid thats the main reason why I started it, Like I mentioned in my introduction my goal is to continue to produce high quality products and expand our product line in the process.. My main focus right now is my customer needs because you should have the option to purchase a plate or a tubular bumper.. Understand on a business standpoint if this backfires because of economy, pricing, demand, or competition we will take a big financial loss.. With that said, im willing to step up and try.. I talked to my engineer/manufacturer this morning and we agreed to look into it further and discuss pricing ($799-$1099) and a newer design of the hybrid.. This is not a definite, and it can take months before its written in stone if it does happen but I will my best to accomodate all of you so lets try and make this happen.. Forgive me for all my late responses im not ignoring this subject, just getting my ass kicked on this whole transition.. Ill keep you posted.. Thanks again,

    Jesse Q.

The pricing seems kindve high, it's not like a plate bumper and a CNC machine needs to be used, we're talking tube bender and some welds. At that price might as well get a plate bumper with winch mount and light cut outs and what ever else might be an option. Maybe I'm missing something but that price is a little steep and I haved lived most of my life dealing with over the top pricing just living where I live.

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, most of the demand that is here now probably will not be here in a few months being that its tax season and all. Will be interesting to see a new design for sure though. :)

I'd be willing to do $799. Anything more than that would be a dealbreaker for me. I'm a broke college student. Even $799 is pushing my budget, especially considering for another hundred I could get an ARB...
