Any picture of the Apex bumper on a 2010'ish? Curious how the bumper lines work.

 

This is the bumper that is on our 2012 Tacoma "Brownie" that is all over our site, Facebook, etc.

 

Two questions:
1. Are you planning on doing a group buy or other sale. I missed the 4th
2. Is this a complete replacement. No cutting of the original bumper like ARB?

Mine is a 2010. They are pretty much all the same.

 

I would really like to trade all my steel (bumpers, skids, sliders) for aluminum, but with a front bumper alone coming in at $2,000 delivered and powdercoated, it really makes me wonder if I would just be better off removing everything to save weight, and then fixing the damage as it happens. Truth is, I rarely hit anything. At this rate, a complete change out could run over 5K. I'm not saying the pricing is wrong. It's a free country. I'm just saying at some point the math goes upside down. The main reason for having a bumper is to prevent expensive damage. In this case the bumper IS the expensive damage . I suppose I should add this :

Edit: In my defense I will say that I have All-Pro sliders, and rear suspension. I also bought my Fox front suspension from them, and other items. I'm not here to slam them, just make a point.

Hey I have a question for some of you that have the Apex bumper. I'm looking at getting some 4" round fogs for it and have come across some on eBay for cheap. Just wondering what kind of lights you all are using? I know the AP website has some but I don't really want to spend that much on fogs right now. My bumper should be painted and ready to be put on in the next couple days. So stoked!

 

It absolutely will!

 

KC hilites just came out with LED gravity fog lights that fit perfect. Let me get a picture for you. I just put my bumper on a few months ago, and the fogs are bright as hell.

 

Those look pretty sweet!!! I'll have to check those lights out for sure.Thats the same style bumper i got (with the small led light bar). I just got mine back from the body shop today. I got it color matched. I should be installing it tomorrow after work or Saturday. I cant frickin wait!!!

 

Well I got it installed and I'm loving it. Cant wait to get the fogs and light bar on it.

 

Can you make them with a higher center hoop? I want one with center hoop only but that goes a few inches higher.

 

When are you going to make these for a 1st gen?
