all right, I'll play with it on my next day off. I was tryin to get that thing in the dark w/ my bro. we started w/ the rear bolts first. I gotta mess with it some more.. till next time.
    Thanks guys
I'm sure budbuilt skids can dent as well, just depends on how much slamming one does. This all pro skid is a thousand times stronger than the tin can ones from toyota. and for the price it aint bad.

Any pics? How do you like it now. I'll thinking about pulling the trigger on the all pro. What all does it replace? Just the front angled skid or also the one just behind that, that is parallel to the ground? I can't tell from All Pro's web site.

it will remove both front skids and the 1-1 1/2" brackets they bolt to. it bolts on the front where the brackets did and ends after the oil pan. much more coverage than the stockers.

FYI...install was user error, not skid plate failure

I won't have any issues with it when I go with a 3in lift down the road right?

So I'm set on the IFS any maybe the Transmission plate, but I'm undecided on the T-case, another $399!, not sure I can justify that one....yet...

    Thanks for the help.

if u dont want to get the full t-case/exhaust skid...just get the t-case skid. it fits replaces the thin t-case skid form the factory. lots cheaper and still protects the t-case

How is the install for all those? (IFS, Transmission, T- Case Shield, and E-locker?)

Do them come with instructions, I'm pretty savvy with working on cars but something to look at and read is always nice.

[IMG]remove these brackets. this was my fault for not removing first hand. these brackets are also supposed to take the blunt of impact. once you remove the initial thin steel toyota plate you'll see these brackets...
[IMG]i used this really sweet hydraulic lift; my help went to work so I installed mavric style. you'll need help trust me cause the plate is a beast
    [IMG]
[IMG] The kit utilizes the stock bolts.

It replaces both the 'engine' skid and the front angled one. Not the transmission or any other part. BTW i've already hit the plate and it took the impact just fine... i just sprayed the scratches w/ a black spray paint. No dent

Any body have any problems with the all pro skids and doing a diff drop, like the one in the Toytec ultimate kit?

I've heard of problems with the diff drop and BB skids.

It is probably in reference to the stock skid plate, but toytec kit does include 1" drop spacers for the skid plate as well.

the IFS (apparently) is more tricky for some...haha...but the trans, t-case shield, and e-locker are all pretty self explainatory
