It is 5" from the grill to the outer edge of the bumper.

Sorry for the late response. I just got the alert that you responded, for some reason.

    Allpro,
Did you replaced your Ultimate RCV IFS Front Axles on Brownie? Any reason why? I was thinking about getting your LT Kit with this axles, now I'm having second thoughts.

Yes I had to take them out due to the grease leaking at the outer cv boot. We are working with RCV on fixing this issue and they should have it resolved shortly and they will be going back in for sure.

Was that Aluminum Apex custom made for those fenders? I'm about to pull the trigger on one and am thinking about getting some McNeil fenders too. just wondering how well they would match up.

That is our standard width APex aluminum bumper. We cut the Glassworks front fenders and narrowed them on the front side to make them fit a normal width front bumper.

I have been looking for a transmission skid plate that cover the CATs. I found this one (http://www.4wheelparts.com/Armor-Pr...=3545&t_pn=ORF87045&emlprox=out&ppcfon=1&gp=1) but not sure about it. I like the All-Pro stuff though. I like the price of this one and that it appears to fit a PreRunner. Anyone with have any thoughts or comments regarding these?

    Too many to list
I'd love to sell you a skid, but ours do not cover the CAT and do not fit a prerunner :(.

Why is it that so many of you "hard core wheelers" think there are only two types of truck owners? Those who wheel hard and posers/mall crawlers.... I think there are a good amount of folks out there, myself included, who DD their trucks, but still want something capable enough to get off the beaten path a bit to hunt, fish, camp, explore, etc. Just like everything else a majority of us fall into that middle ground somewhere. Not all of us have the money to throw at mods as we did on the truck itself. Just because we don't have high clearance bumpers, full skids, LT, lockers, etc. doesn't mean we're any less "worthy"... /soapbox. sorry to rant on your thread...

@allpro Love this build. But if you've got on board propane for dinner, why not have a shower? I did it on mine and it's surprisingly easy. I can give you a parts list if you want. Labor aside it's probably 400$ and doesn't take much any more room than the water pump!

Updated the lights on Brownie this week. We added the Squadron-R Pro Series LED's from Baja Designs. They fit perfectly in our bumper and look great!

We have a shower we bring with us when we need to, but thanks for the offer! We've been tied down here so we haven't been able to get out like we would like to. :)

Love the look of the BD lights! Good to know there is another option besides the PIAA fogs that will fit.

Here are some pictures I took of our new High Clearance Long Travel kit.[HCLT]. 4130 Chromoly tubular A arms with boxed and plated lowers. This new design offers 2.5" more ground clearance under the arms and provides 12" of usable wheel travel with limit straps. The new designed kit uses our new 8" travel Fox 2.5" DSC shock as well as most other Brands of LT style shocks on the market!

If you want the most ground clearance and the most wheel travel for your LT Tacoma this kit is for you!
