I dont know if the color match looks right, I guess im just not used to it because the stock bumper has black on it. But still nice truck man, It beefs it up which always looks good in my opinion.

I think some black shackles would make the perfect offset also... that'd give it that touch of black to go with the rest of the truck.

Thanks man! That's crazy how well the bumper held up in your accident.

What kind of shackles are those? And do they make em in any other colors?

I am feeling pains in my brain after reading this thread all day but I will bite! OP...you could probably pick these up at your local hardware, home depot, lowes or harbor freight. They will most like be cast metal and come in natural silver. You can spray paint them any color you would like although they do move and might actually wear paint off of your bumper the more you drive.

Looks good man. Paint looks pretty close, angles of bumper and lighting just make it seem diff, dont listen to the haters. Do what you want.

These are what I have. They're painted red by default... you could always repaint... or just get some un-painted ones. The ones from AllPro are legit too... I have one left (another fell off wheeling).
    http://www.sierraexpeditions.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=148

    I also have these on...

Protip: Get some zip ties (I'm running stainless steel ones from home depot now thanks to amaes). That'll keep them from falling off. Also, have two spares for your strap (that way you can leave the shackles on the truck and just shackle onto those).

Storing the shackles and strap in one of the many storage locations (under rear seat, bed boxes, etc.) is an easy way to prevent losing them or having them ding your paint.

Simply take them out and connect them when you need them, which should not be often.

    +1

I like it. Cellphone pics will always look a little off, but even in that pic it doesnt look so bad that it warranted the dickhole comments. Ignore them...

I really want a rear plate bumper to protect from road damage. You know... people backing into me in parking lots, rear ending me at stop lights... It really wouldnt be necessary if everyone drove responsibly, but we all know what an impossibility that is.l

Tape off the top and hit it with some Rustoleum truck bed liner. That way it will pop off the truck like the stock bumper and black top.

Definately not my style. Im thinking your truck would have looked slammin if you just painted it black, plus its a lot easier to touch up. Bottom line though, If your happy thats all that matters brother.

i dig the color match, but is it just me or does that color really make the gap between the bumper and the body really stand out?

i would have done a powdercoat instead...wayyy more resilient to chipping

Looks pretty interesting, like those bulletproof jackets that look just like....jackets.
    (ninja armor)

but do you offroad OP? That paint would be expensive to touch up. If I may ask, why not just go with a completely color matched rear bumper?
