The amount of armor differs depending on off-roading terrain, how "hardcore you wheel" , and just "wanting to have it"

Let me know what you hear from them. I want to see if they can build me a flat bottom t-case skid. and them being a short drive away is a huge bonus.

I'll back up Relentless, I've come down hard on his bumpers on multiple occasions and they are still as good as new.

Here is a picture of it.

Maybe the armor tech is not over kill. I must say that the few times I have landed on it it is no worse for the wear. I was just curious how strong a skid needed to be. The few trophy trucks I have seen up close all run aluminum skids and I just figured if they ran them the less bomb proof skids would be fine. Again lesson learned. They can swap them out much easier than the rest of us. I am sure I don't wheel as hard as some on here. I spend most of my offroad time in the desert, usually in death valley or similar terrain. But the main purpose of the trips are to camp out and just enjoy nature. Plus I am a photographer and the road to race track is kinda long and I would hate to smash my oil pan or front diff that far out. I find it hard not to have a little fun with the truck along the way. Now I have another question about armor, I think the last piece I need is the gas tank skid, I have hit the tank and it has the scratches, gouges to prove it. That would definitely leave me literally between a rock and a hard place, especially with no cell service on less traveled trails.
Thanks and sorry to the op for the thread jack!

I have the same bumper and love it! I don't have that tire carrier though, did you fab that yourself?
I recommend the Kennesaw Mountain bumper, it's very sturdy and well constructed IMO, especially for the $
