So my new AP rear bumper is in powdercoating this week. Gonna install it this weekend. The license plate lights that come with it are awfully ugly. Anybody replace them with some nice low profile led lights? If so, can you post pics or links to lights used. Trying to get ideas. May need to get it mounted up first then walk around pepboys and autozone till I find something I can rig up

Yah thats what I was thinking too. Thinking to put a strip underneath the tailgate facing down so the light cant be seen from the sides and will light up the plate.

What did you do with the pre fab holes in the bumper for the lights? Just leave them alone?

Interesting. I had the same thing on my motorcyle and they worked great. This may be the route I take i didnt even think about this. Only issue I see it the flip up license plate mount im not sure if that will cause issues. Im gonna have to mount it up to see how it functions on the bumper if those would work
