All Pro Sliders

Does anyone have the mounting instructions on the sliders from about 2016 for the 2nd gen? All Pro sent me a install manual for a 3rd gen. The hardware that I received has 8 1x1 steel plates with a threaded insert not sure where that goes.

 

The plates should go inside your frame so you can bolt through the slider>frame>threaded plate. Once you line up the sliders to the frame it should be pretty apparent where it all goes.

 

Do the plates go the bolts on the bottom or on the side of the frame? Any problems with the brake lines?

 

I don't have AP sliders, but I've installed enough sets from different manufacturers that it'll make more sense once you put them up against the frame. Most of those will be used on the side (vertical portion) of the frame. Some holes on the bolt-on plates will line up and some you won't use. The driver's side has the brake lines running behind it, but you can bend them out of the way (gently with your hands) so that they aren't rubbing. There is only one hole per side that will have a corresponding bolt on the underside of your frame and that's attached to a crossmember. You'll have to pull that bolt out and reuse it (unless they provided a longer metric bolt to use in that section).

Take a floor jack or two and put the slider on it. Then slowly raise it to meet the frame. You will see where the holes line up. Should be fairly straight forward.
