All pro steel front skid for sale in Atlanta/Marietta, GA very good/excellent condition, never been hit, had it on my 3rd gen for probably 10k miles, 2-3 coats of clear on front and back, 2 coats of etching primer on front, and 2 coats of epoxy satin black VHT paint on front

4/7/20 update--added photos of back of skid--shows clearcoat

Built for 2nd gen and 3rd gen, for 3rd gen just have to drop it to change the oil...

    photos below

    asking $250 for it

    prefer not to ship...

I have this skid and you do not need to drop the skid to change oil on 2nd gen. Just FYI.

sorry for any confusion with this statement:

"Built for 2nd gen also works fine on 3rd gen, just have to drop it to change the oil..."

I had to drop the skid on my 3rd gen to change the oil; no idea what you have to do on a 2nd gen, I don't own one!

    Thanks for interest!

No confusion. I knew what you meant. I was just trying to shed some knowledge for anyone who might be considering this.

This skid was originally designed for a 2nd gen and just happens to also fit 3rd gen. The hole that is offset in the middle of the skid toward the rear is an access point to the oil pan drain plug. You have to remove the skid on 3rd gen because Toyota moved to a replaceable media style filter that is closer to the front of the engine.

I would have been there if you had let me know you had those awning brackets....

I’m sure I’ll be up that way at some point though

Is this skid design specific to stock 3rd Gen exhaust vs rerouted exhaust? @CowboyTaco
Does it come with all the mounting hardware?
TBH... I’ve held off on skids b/c I’m planning to go with a reroute, so I want the correct skid to match my end goal... buy once ideally....

This skid ends before the exhaust crossover, so it is irrelevant. It re-uses factory bolts, so no real hardware consideration.

The exhaust re-route question comes into effect when discussing the xfer case skid. Take a look at the allpro website and see what skids they offer behind the IFS skid.

Just on a personal note, I would hate to drop this skid every time I had to change the oil.

Thanks CT -- agree with all above except dropping it every 6000 miles wasn't a big deal to me... ymmv

Here's the info on All Pro's website on the skid--the one I'm selling is all they offer for 2005+ and they don't seem to offer the little door at all:
