Get the little guy or gal a five point harness and take them wheeling :)

The weak point is definitely not the bumper but rather how the bumper mounts to the truck. As you know the AP bumper uses the factory bumper tabs that were designed to hold that light aluminum bumper (approx 30lbs...) When Toyota built these tabs they were in no way designed to have a 100lb+ bumper with a 8,000lb winch pulling from them.

I still love my bumper and I think it's one of the best ones out there. I even had an ARB in my possession for a short time but sold it and kept the All-Pro.

I would encourage anyone that is interested in the AP bumper to get it. At these prices it's a steal.

So, will new bumpers from this GB have the changes made on them to fix this problem?

Hey there, very interested too. Just a quick question for those who bought it, how difficult was it to do the install and did you do it yourself with some help?

I would need it powdercoated, any word on a possible option?

last question: what's the best way to order? email/call directly to AP to get the TW discount?

    Thanks!

It'll always be easier with an extra hand since you'll need to hold it in place with a jack while securing the hardware. It's about 118lbs of bulky plate steel. This GP is only for the bare steel, no PC option. I would look around in your local area for a PC shop. Email or call works for them. But you'll probably want to call to place your actual order since they'll need your credit card

For this group buy it is only for the bare steel bumpers no powder coat option on them. Best way would be to call to make the order. If you do it online via the website just make sure you make a note on there that you want the TW group buy pricing. (pricing via website will be adjusted after card does not get charged until we process the order directly)

I'm in for this... Email sent on website, I left contact info, I'd like to place order over phone.

I was going to make my own, but for this price, I'd be into it for at least half this cost after I picked up materials from a local supplier. This is excellent !!! Hope shipping isn't too ridiculous, but I know it won't be cheap

Hard to tell in this pic but it does stick out a little but it looks good and gives the fendor some protection.

If it helps in comming up with a mounting fix here is a pic of that mounting tab in question failing. Note they were running an All-Pro bumper.

K&N intake, Flow series exhaust, bfg all-terrains, Line-X bed liner, 2.5'' leveling kit, diff drop(just to be safe), hard wired inverter, Delta tool box, high lift mounted in bed, Jerry can mount for in the bed, spidertrax wheel spacers, all-pro rear bumper, gray wire mod
I plan on getting the all pro front and rear bumper, two skid plates, and a few other lttle things at some point... Dang I don't think I can convince the wife to let me do it this quick. Unless All-Pro extended it's offer period or sweetened the pot a little???
