Erik, if you haven't already gotten them on, you're gonna love the flip kit.
for anyone else considdering the kit, here's a look at it relative to stock.
something to keep in mind: though the timbren bump stops (pictured) are a good deal taller, they will actually compress until they are shorter than the stock bumps. bottoming out never felt so good :p though that will change when the air bumps come in

I don't have a good picture of it, but the u-bolts are also a larger diamiter.

    Colin,

What air bumps are you going to be running?

haven't decided yet. they're all about the same price and quality. more than likely fox or king though. i'll be doing the fronts first though since i'm still using stock bumps up there

Oh I see, are you going to be building your own mounts? Have you looked into the Light Racing Bumps?

i'll buy the cans, but i'll weld them on myself, and because i'm paranoid, i'll brace the crap out of them on my own. i've looked into the light racing, but they are purely for stock applications, so when i change that later on, i'd have to buy new ones anyway.

    None YET...some to come.
Can you use the stock bump-stops with the flip-kit? I'm interested in the kit, but don't have $ to spare for the Timbrens just yet.

Just have the drill 2 hole and notch the mounting plate of the bump stop. Not hard to do. Jandrews thread about the super bumps shows what needs to be done.

You can use the stock bumps. You got to weld them on though.

    X2.
Notch the base plate on the bump stop so they fit inside the U-Bolt bolts, then weld em in place on the flip kit plate.

You can weld them in or if you have the plates (flip kit plates) with the holes for the timbreins then just drill two holes, along with the notching, and bolt them in.

Hey if one of you guys can help me out that would be great. Im looking for the distance between the bolt holes for the timbrens. Mine did not come predrilled so rather than welding them in Id like to bolt them in case I want to change later on.

So linear distance and if you know what the bolt size is to that would be great.

Might be able to get a faster response from All-Pro. I would tell you but I don't have the kit (yet).

Thanks guys. I ordered them the other nite. Will try to use the stock ones first, and then pick up the Timbens at a later time.
