Hey all im looking at rebuilding my ucas from all pro my shop told me that my upper balll joints are junk. they were gonna reorder whole new upper control arms. but these are rebuildable for the smalll price of 254.00 lol. My question is how hard is it to rebuild them?? Has anybody done it or should i save myself the parts and labor and buy a new set because its probably gonna cost me around the same price tohave a shop build them. Any help is appreciated.

    -Thanks

The uniball parts are $118 for two new bushings, $116 for all four misalignment spacers, $20 for two uniball bolts. That's the $254.

Rebuilding the uni-balls is a periodic maintenance thing with UCAs that use them, I don't know why you wouldn't repair them. Just my $0.02 but about the only reason you wouldn't is if they are bent or rusted.

I'd also get a set of new poly bushings and remove the UCAs to rebuild like @whatstcp says, regrease everything in the process.
