Sorry man, didn't check this thread for a while. I removed the bumper supports only to put them back on. For sure use tape on the fenders, I scratched mine only because I was lifting the bumper by myself in the wrong place. Once I figured that out, it was cake. Also when it came to line it up on to the six bolts, I used (3) washers on the bottom bolts, (2) washers on the middle bolts and (1) washer on the top bolts. I'll send you a PM.

I used (4) magnets from ACE hardware that are screwed to the license plate. Tested them out a few weeks ago out in the desert and they held up fine! I believe they are 16lbs holding for each one.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Jay, I too was ambitious, enough to lift this bumper off and on a couple of times by myself. If I had added a winch there is no doubt I would have needed a hand to get the bumper up off the ground.

You are right about the washers, my sequence was 0, 1, 2. I had the bumper on and could not get the angle close enough to level for my liking. I was starting to get frustrated.

I had a little bit of trouble because I linexed everything, so fitment of the two support brackets was a little tricky. I also had to clear some threads. That was a pain, but with snow and salt linex is a must.

I took a few notes to send to the All-Pro crew to help out the next guy. Thanks for answering the phone and getting me the info I needed Kurtis :)

All said and done it took me a little over 4 hours.

I took your idea about the license plate and ran with it. I found some really strong magnets at Home Depot and epoxied the suckers on all four corners of the of the plate. If I'm headed for the trail I can pull the plate off, and I didn't have to drill into my new bumper. :D

What brand of light did you go with to mount in your bumper? Pros/cons? I was thinking PIAA, but I might opt for a smaller LED option.

    here's another tip:

make sure you leave plenty of inner fender plastic to tuck into the bumper, if you cut it to close to the back edge of the bumper and tuck it in, the air flow without fog lights can blow it out and your hungry tires will eat them :D
i suggest pulling the plastic to the front to mark it, there's a ton of room for it to lay on, even under the light tab mounts.

I got the rear bumper also, the lights that come with it are chrome.
If you go to superbrightleds.com you can get the same lights in black for about $6.00 each.

Interested in the bumper, but the powder coating at 180 kinda kills it.

Your other bumper on your website is only $50 extra for powder coating, I know its 20% off, but is there anyway you can do the coat for the same additional cost as the other bumper? If so I would order one.
