the original bumper is actually $150 to have powder coated. The whole APEX line is getting different powder coating then our original bumper that costs a bit more to do. These bumpers are getting a special primer then powder coating.

AP does not currently make a "hybrid" 2 gen bumper.

All-pro APEX front bumper, 4xInnovation sliders w/kickouts, ATO front skid, Smittybilt XRC-8 winch, Icon 2.5 Front coilovers with 700lb King shocks, 5100's on the rear, TSB Toytec AAL, slimcubby HID headlights, debadged, Magnaflow muffler, AFE drop-in, Python 991 Remote start/alarm, Clarion NX501, Wet Okole's, Weathertech digifit floor mats, Midland CB, Blue 4' Firestik II, Tailgate anti-theft mod, power tailgate lock, rear differential breather relocation & yellow wire mod.
Anyone mounted a winch in theirs yet? The solenoid mounting location inside the bumper is too far for the wires on my smittybuilt xrc 8. Wondering how others have worked around this

We appreciate the feedback. We are now going to include extra washers for adjustment. These bumpers are manufactured to strict specs, within 1/2 degree, but some adjustment may be necessary. Not all trucks are exactly the same as well.

That is a great solution. I've never had a front plate and haven't been hassled about it. I carry it under my seat with some cable ties just in case though!

Thanks for the order! We'll see you tomorrow.

Thanks! Your order will be going out soon.

The cables do have to be extended. We will also offer a mount that goes behind the stock grille to alleviate this problem.

We are getting closer. We just got the 3rd prototype test fit and are fine tuning a few details.

lol seriously:confused: why dude i like this new design all pro i like the fact they beefed it up and made it safe and reliable to winch from but, an arb its not.

out of all the bumpers i have seen for 2nd gens the arb's are the stoutest i have come across the only one i think compare are the relentless and ato and cbi offerings and even then idk.

i went with arb for the impact protection it lends you and the frame straps are so over done its almost silly. the only down side to the arb is the lack of recovery points and its weight.

ARBs have to be "stout" since the approach angle is bad and you're more likely to hit it, and as you mentioned they weigh a lot. Also, there isn't much room to run larger tires. So, I'm glad our bumper isn't an ARB! LOL

Allpro LT powder coated black with Fox 2.5s. BAMF Sliders w/ kick outs. Allpro Expo leaf pack and Fox 2.0 RR. Brute Force hybrid bumper. BAMF Roofrack. Tepui Kukenam in Siberia Camo. CBI ditch light brackets. Cobra CB. Allpro skidplate.
Not to mention the ARB is flat out ugly. Personally, I want my truck to look good as well as perform.

Hells yeah! I pondered my options for a long, long time, and IMO the All-Pro one-piece was the best combination of price, weight, design, and aesthetics.

It took me four hours to do by myself with hand-tools and a floor jack. The instructions were easy to use, and anything else you need to know has already been discussed in this thread. Get out there and spend some quality time with your Taco :D

Thanks! I didn't want to talk someone into doing it themselves and not give a couple ideas on how to go about keeping the bumper from smashing him in the face

The jack helped out when I was fine-tuning the gap between the fenders and the top of the bumper. It was also really helpful (with the tranny attachment) for lifting the skid plate in place.
