Ended up going with Tacoma TRD 17 inch wheels and Faulken WildPeak 265/70/17. No humming at all. So far so good. Will keep y’all posted.

I really like the look of those TRD wheels on our trucks. Good choice!

I had E on my last Tacoma but for this one went for the better ride with Duratrac C 265 75 16. Good ride, not too loud IMO, great on bad ranch and forest roads, solid in snow. Poor on wet pavement, occasionally requiring 4 wheel on steep streets in Seattle.

Just here to say, do NOT get Hankook dynapro AT-M. Worst tire ever. Loud, vibrates like hell, won't balance worth a crap. Dangerous tire in the rain or anything wet (not even gonna talk about snow). With less than 10k miles on them, I nearly died going around a corner on wet pavement at a measly 35mph turning right and the truck understeers into a semi truck, lucky he swerved and missed him by a hair. I had to clean my pants after that one. Never again. Swapped them out immediately for Falken Wildpeaks and can't get those tires to break loose on black ice. Been through multiple snow storms, rain storms, off-road muddin, rock climbing, with no problems whatsoever. I'm very happy with them.
