I'm out if its that rough. I just did my lift and still need AT tires. Plus she's brand new (only 8,700 miles). So I'm not trying to bang her up yet.

I hear ya. Mine was 6 months old when it sustained damage out there. It really sucked but thankfully a high clearance rear bumper took care of the damage and now it's better protected for future use. Just prepare yourself for something happening. Having a few drinks to take your mind off it helps.

Yep, I managed to go through a few trails last year with only the 3 inch lift and 33 BFG ATs with out a scratch!!!! Eric (redraider) can testify to that!!! aber I did take the wussy trail on a few since I wasn't protected. I have sliders sitting in my garage but they so heavy  (MPG wise) and I has no moneys to get them welded on at the moment.

I like throwing that video around. and I'm still rubbing

I would love to go to the meet if it is at the end of November, which I voted for. I wheel out at HF pretty regularly. I know about 40% of the trails but they change daily. Sometimes a Lvl 2 can become a Lvl 4/5 quickly if we get some bad rain. Last few weeks we have out here and I haven't been in over a month. I might take a day trip out there just to get back into the swing of things. I'll post pictures if I do.

Here is a photo last time on a Lvl 3/4 Trail called Bronco Buster.

Skids, Sliders and at least 1 locker for HF minimum. Fire road mobbing isnt fun out there at all. It just stirs up the dust. I might bring my Tacoma out there with my 85 in tow or just drive the 85 out there like I have before. It gets better mpg than my tacoma anyways.

I wouldn't call it the wussy trail exactly :p that was just about at the top. One guy managed to dent in his door, and that's because he had sliders. THen again, some people who are better equipped are less careless, in that case, I'm guessin' he really didn't care. Either way, pictures or videos rarely do these kinds of things justice. :p

That was not one of the bypasses, there was one trail where the guys with sliders were kissing the rocks the entire time!!!! Gotta love that metal on rock sound, NOW those I skipped!

Zech has it right though, a good spotter will take good care of you!!!

I would think there is no turning around. Push that truck into the side of a ditch and keep going. lol Part of knowing the limitations of your vehicle also I guess what it can and cant manage.

You will always be a fuckin boot until you start doing a few. The best way to learn is by getting rubber to rock. Mud is fun; but I really don't consider that off road like rocks or desert.
